Worldle is a daily country guessing game that runs as an Activity inside Discord. This page explains what information the game uses and why.

What we collect

• Your Discord user ID. When you open the game, Discord asks you to authorise it with the "identify" permission. We save this ID alongside your guesses, so we know which saved game is yours.
• Your guesses. For each daily game we save the countries you guessed and how close each guess was.
• Feedback you send. If you use the feedback button, we receive your message along with details about your game (such as the mode and number of guesses) and your device (such as the browser, screen size and time zone) and any errors the game ran into. This helps us fix bugs. Your Discord account is not attached to it.

What we do not collect

• Your email address, messages, friends list or servers.
• Your username and avatar. They are shown to other players in the same Activity, but they come straight from Discord and are not saved by us.
• Advertising or analytics data. The game has no ads and no trackers.

How we use it

• To save your progress, so you can close the game and come back to it.
• To stop a daily game being played more than once.
• To show other players in the same Activity how many guesses you have made and how close each one was. They cannot see which countries you guessed.

Where it is stored

Saved games are stored in a database hosted by Supabase. The game itself is hosted by Netlify. Both companies process this data on our behalf. Discord handles your login under its own privacy policy.

We do not sell your information or share it with anyone else.

How long we keep it

Saved games are kept until you ask us to delete them, or until the game is shut down.

Your choices

• You can ask for a copy of your saved games, or ask us to delete them, using the contact details below.
• You can remove the game's access to your account at any time in Discord under User Settings, Authorized Apps.

Children

The game is for people who are old enough to use Discord under Discord's own terms.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
